Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, popularly known as Ajagurajah, has issued a formal apology to Ghanaian musician and entrepreneur Criss Waddle following a wave of criticism regarding a controversial spiritual directive. The leader of the Ajagurajah Movement had recently claimed that Waddle was under a severe spiritual threat that required urgent intervention. To avert this perceived danger, the prophet requested two cows from the rapper to perform a sacrifice, a demand that sparked significant public debate and accusations of financial opportunism.
In a video address shared via TikTok, Ajagurajah sought to clarify his position, asserting that his request for the livestock was symbolic and not motivated by a lack of personal resources. He expressed regret for any offense caused by his public comments and denied rumors that his intervention was intended to influence external legal entities like the FBI. The prophet emphasized that while he stood by his spiritual assessment of the situation, the negative reception of his advice has led him to withdraw his offer to perform the proposed sacrifice, stating he no longer wishes to proceed with the spiritual exercise.
Despite the apology, Ajagurajah remained firm in his prophetic calling, challenging his critics by stating that time would eventually reveal the truth of his words. He drew parallels between this situation and his previous prophecy concerning the bail of Abu Trica, which he claims was accurately fulfilled despite initial skepticism. By citing past successes, the prophet aimed to reinforce his credibility while simultaneously distancing himself from the current friction with the 'AMG Business' CEO.
This incident underscores the complex relationship between religious figures and celebrities in Ghana, where public prophecies often lead to divided opinions. While Ajagurajah has vowed to refrain from discussing the matter further, the saga has reignited conversations about the ethics and public delivery of spiritual warnings involving high-profile individuals. For now, the prophet appears focused on moving past the controversy, leaving the ultimate outcome of his warnings to the passage of time.
