Thousands of mourners and well-wishers converged at the Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi for the final thanksgiving service in honor of the late Apostle Kwadwo Safo. The event marked the conclusion of a series of funeral rites dedicated to the life and legacy of the renowned religious figure and innovator. The service was attended by high-profile dignitaries, church members, and the general public, reflecting the profound impact the late Apostle had on the Ghanaian community across religious and social spheres. The ceremony was a poignant moment for the family, led by his daughter, Sarah Adwoa Safo, who received widespread praise for her dedication to ensuring a dignified farewell for her father. Despite the challenges associated with organizing such a massive event, the proceedings were described as orderly, supported by a visible security presence to manage the large crowds that filled both the interior of the hall and the surrounding grounds. Attendees shared testimonies of the Apostle's contributions, highlighting his role as a spiritual leader and a visionary. This Kumasi thanksgiving service served as the final chapter of the official funeral activities, which originally commenced in Accra on July 30 and 31. The transition from the national capital to the Ashanti regional capital allowed a broader cross-section of his followers to pay their last respects. As the curtains close on these ceremonies, the focus remains on the lasting legacy of Apostle Kwadwo Safo’s work, which spanned decades of ministry and pioneering efforts in local technology and philanthropy, ensuring his name remains etched in the history of modern Ghana.
