In a recent development concerning the estate of the late Ghanaian musician Daddy Lumba, his wife Akosua Serwaa has filed letters of administration, which has sparked allegations on social media regarding the authenticity of the documents. Critics have accused her of forging her children's names in the court filings. In response, Daddy Lumba's children issued a joint statement on January 20, 2026, firmly refuting these claims and expressing their unwavering support for their mother. They emphasized the strength of their familial bond and condemned the rumors of conflict, particularly those targeting businessman Kenpong, who has been accused of having ulterior motives in supporting Akosua. The family urged the public to dismiss the negative narratives circulating online, reinforcing their unity during this challenging time.
