Businessman Daniel Kwame Acheampong has presented a significant donation of electronic appliances to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Western Region. The contribution, which includes 16 air conditioning units and 11 television sets, is designated for the party’s newly constructed regional office in Sekondi. This gesture is intended to bolster the NDC's administrative infrastructure as it seeks to strengthen its presence and operational efficiency within the region. The donation comprises a variety of equipment tailored to the needs of the new facility, which is recognized as the first purpose-built regional office for the NDC in Sekondi. Among the electronics provided are 1.5 and 2.5-horsepower air conditioners, along with television sets of various sizes. The Western Regional Youth Organiser, Alhaji Mustapha Iddrisu, received the items on behalf of the party, acknowledging the critical role such contributions play in maintaining a modern political headquarters. Speaking during the presentation, Daniel Kwame Acheampong emphasized that support for political organizations should not be contingent on whether a party is currently in power. He noted that enhancing the party's operational capacity is a continuous necessity for democratic engagement. Alhaji Iddrisu and the regional chairman expressed their gratitude for the businessman's commitment, noting that the equipment would significantly improve the working environment for party officials and staff. The NDC regional leadership has used the occasion to call upon other supporters and well-wishers to contribute toward the completion and furnishing of the regional secretariat. As the party continues to consolidate its structures across the country, leaders in the Western Region view this donation as a vital step in ensuring their regional hub remains a functional center for political strategy and community outreach.
