Succeeding Victor Owusu, Donkor takes the helm of the legislative body during a critical period for distance learning representation. He emphasized that his administration will focus on addressing the unique concerns of distance learners by promoting accountability and fostering constructive engagement with university authorities. Donkor’s objective is to ensure that the legislative processes of the association are transparent and that the student body remains well-informed of the decisions affecting their academic welfare.

As David Opare Donkor begins his leadership, the focus shifts to the implementation of his proposed reforms and the enhancement of student-led advocacy. By leveraging his experience in media and political communication, he aims to create a more vibrant and responsive parliamentary system.
