The Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr Agyemang Badu II, has called for an end to the insults directed at the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, following his recent mediation report on the Bawku conflict. The Dormaahene emphasized the importance of recognizing the Asantehene's contributions, noting that he was appointed by both former Presidents Akufo-Addo and Mahama to tackle the complex issues between the Mamprusi and Kusasi groups. The mediation report, which aims to resolve longstanding disputes, recommends the legal recognition of Zugraan Naba Asigri Abugrago Azoka II as Bawku Naba, highlighting the necessity of upholding the rule of law in matters of traditional authority. The Dormaahene's remarks serve as a reminder of the critical role that traditional leaders play in fostering peace and stability in the region.
