Ghana to Make Historic International Karting Debut in Angola This October

Ghana is poised to make a landmark entry into the world of international motorsports as the nation prepares for its debut in the Karting Africa Championship Series. Scheduled for October 10-11 in Benguela, Angola, this historic event marks the first time Ghanaian drivers will compete on an international karting stage. The initiative, hosted by the Federation of Angolan Motorsport, represents a significant step forward in diversifying Ghana's sporting profile and establishing a presence in the high-speed world of competitive racing.

The Ghanaian contingent features three talented drivers: Jihad, who will compete in the senior category, and junior racers Kloe and Ezra. To honor their heritage and symbolize the nation’s competitive spirit, the team will sport helmets and gear prominently featuring Ghana’s national colors and the iconic Black Star emblem.
