King Promise Debuts Chelsea FC Anthem as Kofi Kinaata and EchoWave Secure Strategic Corporate and Technical Milestones

The Ghanaian entertainment landscape is witnessing a surge in high-profile collaborations that bridge the gap between music, international sports, and corporate fintech. Highlighting this trend, Afrobeats star King Promise has partnered with English Premier League side Chelsea Football Club to release a dedicated anthem, while award-winning songwriter Kofi Kinaata is exploring strategic synergies with Mobile Money Fintech Ltd (MMF). These developments, coupled with the technical milestones of event production firms like EchoWave, underscore a period of significant growth and professionalization for Ghana’s creative arts sector. In a move that celebrates the intersection of football and Afrobeats, King Promise and Chelsea FC have officially released "Can’t Tame Us (Chelsea Anthem)." The track is designed to honor the club’s vibrant culture and its substantial African supporter base. By blending the rhythmic energy of Afrobeats with the passion of football, the collaboration serves as a tribute to fans across the continent who have integrated the London-based club into their daily lives. The anthem reinforces Chelsea's commitment to engaging with its global audience through culturally resonant projects. Simultaneously, the corporate appeal of Ghanaian artistry was highlighted during a visit by Kofi Kinaata to MMF. Shaibu Haruna, the CEO of Mobile Money Fintech Ltd, lauded Kinaata for his deep and meaningful songwriting, noting the unique structure of his lyrical content. The two parties discussed a potential partnership that aligns with MMF’s strategy to expand beyond mobile money into savings, loans, and lifestyle offerings. Kinaata, whose work has evolved to include networking seminars for his audience, expressed optimism that such a collaboration could amplify his social impact and help overcome traditional funding challenges. Complementing these artistic successes, the technical backbone of the industry is also reaching new heights. EchoWave, a rising force in professional sound and logistics, recently demonstrated its capabilities at the 10th anniversary of the Women in Worship event. Utilizing modern equipment and expert engineering, the company ensured high-quality audio for the high-profile religious gathering. EchoWave’s leadership has indicated that this success is a stepping stone toward a broader goal of providing reliable event support for both corporate functions and major concerts across the West African sub-region.
