Liverpool manager Arne Slot has confirmed that the team has moved on from the recent controversy surrounding star player Mohamed Salah, who expressed frustration over being dropped from the starting lineup. Currently participating in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Salah's absence has coincided with Liverpool's resurgence, as they are on a five-match unbeaten streak. The team, now sitting in seventh place in the Premier League, is poised to break into the top four with a crucial victory against Tottenham. Slot acknowledged that the squad has undergone significant changes this summer, which have led to a longer-than-expected adaptation period. Despite facing injury challenges, there is optimism regarding the potential return of key player Dominik Szoboszlai, which could further bolster the team's performance as they aim for a strong finish in the league.
