Regina Daniels' best friend, Ann, has been released from detention after spending two nights in custody. Her release occurred on March 1, 2023, following an adjournment of her case until March 5, 2026. Ann was arrested in Lagos and subsequently taken to Abuja due to theft allegations involving $40,000, reportedly made by Regina's estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko. Concerns have been raised regarding Ann's treatment during her detention, as she was brought to court without legal representation and was not allowed contact with her family. The situation follows a tumultuous period for Regina Daniels, who has recently faced domestic violence allegations in her relationship with Nwoko.
