Senok West Africa Limited has officially launched its latest range of JCB heavy machinery in Ghana, marking a significant entry into the country's industrial equipment market. At a ceremony held on October 14, 2026, at the Fiesta Royale Hotel in Accra, the company was introduced as the sole authorized dealer for JCB. The event brought together government representatives, industry leaders, and technical partners to explore advanced engineering solutions tailored for Ghana’s expanding mining and construction sectors.
Roshan Buddhagamage, the Country Manager of Senok West Africa, emphasized that the company’s mission extends beyond the sale of machinery. Since its establishment in December 2025, Senok has focused on providing reliable after-sales support and ensuring that local businesses have access to the expertise required to maximize the utility of their equipment. Mr. Buddhagamage highlighted the importance of localized technical skills, noting that the company is committed to training Ghanaian technicians to maintain and repair the JCB fleet, ensuring long-term operational sustainability for its clients.
Reinforcing this commitment to human resource development, Rupesh Nagar, Deputy Managing Director at JCB, pointed out that the company aims to replicate its success in East Africa, where it has trained more than 5,000 technicians. He explained that building a competent local workforce is essential for supporting Ghana's infrastructure development and industrial growth. According to Mr. Nagar, the JCB range is designed for efficiency, offering low operational costs and the security of a steady supply of genuine spare parts through Senok’s distribution network.
The launch comes at a time when Ghana’s investment climate is increasingly focused on industrialization and job creation. By combining high-performance machinery with a robust technical training program, Senok West Africa and JCB seek to play a pivotal role in the nation's infrastructure journey. This strategic partnership is expected to bolster the capacity of local firms to take on large-scale projects while providing specialized employment opportunities for the next generation of Ghanaian engineers and technicians.
