Yusif Sulemana, the Member of Parliament for the Bole-Bamboi constituency, has officially fulfilled a GH₵100,000 pledge to the Mandari community in the Savannah Region. During a brief ceremony, the MP handed over the funds to community leaders and formally introduced the contractors tasked with constructing three mechanised boreholes. This infrastructure initiative is designed to address pressing water accessibility issues and improve the overall standard of living within the locality.
The financial commitment and the resulting project stem from a promise made by Mr. Sulemana during the community's recent homecoming ceremony. By delivering the GH₵100,000 directly to the community elders, the MP sought to demonstrate his commitment to fulfilling development promises made to his constituents. The introduction of the borehole contractors marks the formal commencement of the project’s execution phase, ensuring that the community will soon have reliable access to mechanised water systems.
Beyond the immediate water project, Mr. Sulemana outlined further development goals intended to bolster the region's social infrastructure. He announced specific plans to facilitate the construction of a new health centre for the Mandari community. This proposed facility aims to enhance the delivery of local health services, reducing the travel burden on residents and complementing the infrastructure improvements already underway through the borehole project.
