Accra is set to become the center of continental governance and technology discussions as it hosts the 7th Africa Public Sector Conference & Awards (APSCA 2026). Scheduled to take place from October 14 to 16, 2026, at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City, the event will bring together more than 500 delegates from across various African nations. The three-day gathering serves as a critical platform for high-level dialogue on modernizing public services and fostering sustainable development through technological integration.
The conference will feature participation from a broad spectrum of leaders, including government ministers, chief executive officers, and key policymakers. Julius Debrah, the Chief of Staff, is expected to deliver a keynote address, underlining the importance of the public sector in driving national and continental growth. Participants will engage in sessions focused on improving governance structures and navigating the challenges and opportunities presented by digital transformation in the public sphere.
In addition to the main conference, the event will incorporate several specialized segments, including Digital Economy Live and the 15th Digital Innovation Awards. These components are designed to highlight and honor excellence in Africa’s rapidly evolving digital landscape. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore the Made in Africa Exhibition, a dedicated space showcasing home-grown innovations and technological solutions developed by African entrepreneurs and organizations.
The organizers, InstinctWave Group, anticipate that APSCA 2026 will serve as a catalyst for new cross-border partnerships and policy frameworks. By facilitating direct interaction between technology providers and public sector leaders, the conference aims to accelerate the adoption of digital tools that can enhance transparency and efficiency across the continent. This convergence is viewed as a vital step in strengthening Africa's digital economy and ensuring that the public sector remains responsive to the needs of its citizens in an increasingly interconnected world.
